
Rather than causing embarrassment to you and
your guests on the day, could you please ensure that all players are aware of the
following standards of dress and etiquette.
By signing the booking confirmation form, you
are acknowledging that you and all your party agree to abide by the rules.
Anyone not adhering to them will be asked to
leave the course or clubhouse.
Etiquette
In consideration to all golfers, visitors are
reminded that players should be knowledgeable in the rules and etiquette of golf. The
average round should take four hours. Slow players are requested to allow other golfers
through to ensure speed of play is maintained at all times.
Standards of Dress
Would all golfers please ensure that the
following rules are adhered to, in order to avoid embarrassment.
- No denims to be worn on the course or in the
clubhouse.
- No trainers to be worn in the clubhouse.
- No collarless shirts to be worn on the course or in the clubhouse.
- Ladies and Gents shorts must be tailored.
- Sports socks must be worn with shorts.
- Golf shoes must be worn on the course at all times.
- No hats to be worn in the clubhouse at any time.
Local Rules
1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27-1)
a) Beyond all boundary hedges, fences and gates.
b) Any area marked by white posts.
2. Water Hazards (Rule 26-1)
(including lateral water hazards)
Water hazards - yellow stakes.
Lateral water hazards - red stakes.
3. Immovable Obstructions
The following are deemed immovable obstructions and
relief may be obtained under Rule 24-2.
a) Fixed seats.
b) Sprinkler heads and control boc covers.
c) Fixed tee sign posts.
d) Staked trees.
4. Stones in Bunkers
Stones may be removed from bunkers under supervision of
fellow competitor.
5. Overhead Wires
A ball striking overhead wires must be replayed from as
near as possible to the original spot.
